Clinicians VirActive Seasonal Capsules can be taken along side conventional medication to support immune response and help to strengthen the immune system which helps to prevent you from getting a cold or flu as well as helping to speed up the recovery from a cold or flu if you already have one. This is due to the capsules containing important vitamins and minerals known to help including:
- Vitamin C helps to stimulate an immune response to infections while also helping to decrease the severity of the symptoms and duration of the infection.
- Selenium helps to inhibit the ability of viruses to mutate into more virulent strains, which would worsen the current infection.
- Vitamin A help to protect against viral infections by interfering with the way viruses penetrate cells and replicate.
- Zinc helps to prevent and reduce the symptoms of the infection due to inhibiting replication of the viruses.
The body's immune response to winter ills and chills is largely determined on how well the immune system can cope as its function is to isolate and remove the cause. Adults Dosage:
- Preventative: Take ONE capsule DAILY with WATER.
- During Infection:
- Acute: Take TWO capsules THREE times DAILY for TWO to THREE DAYS.
- Maintenance: Take ONE to THREE capsules DAILY.
Children (6 to 12 years) Dosage:
- During Infection:
- Acute: Take ONE capsule THREE times DAILY for TWO to THREE DAYS.
- Maintenance: Take ONE capsule DAILY.
