5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a standardized extract of the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia.

The brain chemical, serotonin has been known to researchers for nearly half a century and new research continues to demonstrate how it influences mood and emotion. 5-HTP is converted in the body into the neurotransmitter serotonin.

Radiance 5-HTP Presentation: Radiance 5-HTP Capsules = 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) from Griffonia simplicifolia seeds 50mg - 90 softgel capsules per pack. Radiance 5-HTP contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, corn, milk, egg, preservatives or artificial colours.

Suggested 5-HTP Dosage: Take ONE or TWO Radiance 5-HTP capsules daily, preferably at bedtime. Do not exceed this recommended dosage for 5-HTP without seeking professional advice.

5-HTP Caution: If you are currently taking anti-depressants or other drugs please consult your health care professional prior to using 5-HTP. Do not take 5-HTP during the day as drowsiness may occur. 5-HTP should not be taken at the same time as serotonin affecting drugs. 5-HTP is NOT recommended during pregnancy.
