Clinicians Xylitol Nasal Spray Supports and Protects the Mucous Membranes of the Upper Respiratory Tract during times of Ills and Chills

Clinicians Xylitol Nasal Spray helps to clear the nasal passages and significantly reduces the risk of sinus infection. It appears to act by reducing the ability of the bacteria to adhere to the mucous memranes of the upper respiratory tract, keeping the bacteria mobile and available to be excreted. Studies show that Xylitol (at 5% strength) may release the attachment of at least 50% of the offending bacteria to the nasal surface.

Xylitol may also be beneficial for reducing the ability of bacteria to adhere to epithelial surfaces in the ear. It has been used to help prevent middle ear infections in young children, and has been reported to inhibit the growth of alpha-haemolytic Streptococci, including Streptococcus pneumoniae. Xylitol is used as an accepted means of preventing Otitis Media in Finland and other countries

Directions:
ADULTS: Apply 1-2 sprays into each nostril three times daily until symptoms improve. (There may be a need to blow nose to clear mucous shortly after application which aids the expulsion of offending bacteria).
CHILDREN: 6 and under - Apply 1 spray into each nostril 3-4 times daily until symptoms improve. INFANTS: Spray the contents into the cap and apply one drop into each nostril 3-4 times daily until symptoms improve.
