Voltaren Emulgel is a transdermal treatment for aches, pains and inflammation. Transdermal means that the active ingredient crosses the skin into the muscle and soft tissue. Voltaren Emulgel contains an active ingredient called Diclofenac which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces pain and inflammation.

Voltaren Emulgel is for the temporary relief of local pain and inflammation in acute soft tissue injuries and local soft tissue rheumatism including sprains, tendonitis, bursitis and sports injury.

Voltaren Emulgel Dosage: Rub sufficient  Voltaren Emulgel  (You do not need to rub in large amounts) into the affected area 3 or 4 times daily as required. The amount you will need will depend on the size of the area you are treating. Usually an amount of Voltaren Emulgel ranging in size from a cherry to a walnut is sufficient.

Voltaren Emulgel Ingredients: Diclofenac diethylammonium gel 11.6 mg/g equivalent to diclofenac sodium 10mg/g (1% w/w/) Voltaren Emulgel contains isopropyl alcohol as a preservative. Other non active ingredients: diethylamine, carbomer 934P, cetomacrogol 1000, cococaprylate/capate, liquid paraffin, fragrance, propylene glycol and water.

Voltaren Emulgel Precautions: Do not use Voltaren Emulgel if you are allergic to any of the ingredients - either the active ingredient, Diclofenac or any of the other ingredients listed above. Do not use Voltaren Emulgel if you have an allergy to aspirin or any other NSAID Medicine.
