Superfade Cream assists in the fading of age spots, freckles and brown skin blemishes.

John Plunkett's Original Superfade Cream is an effective skin bleaching cream.

Superfade Cream has replaced Eldoquin Cream 2%.  The active ingredient is both the same and the same strength.

Superfade Cream contains a powerful fading agent and other ingredients to assist in fading blemishes.  The cream works gradually and results should begin to appear after 6 weeks.  It is a non greasy cream and may be worn under make-up.

Age spots, freckles, and brown skin blemishes occur when areas of excessive pigmentation (hyperpigmentation) occur causing irregular brown marks on the skin, especially on the backs of hands, arms, neck and face.  Superfade's bleaching ingredient hydroquinone works by slowing down the production of melanin pigment in the skin. As less and less melanin is produced the darkened skin gradually fades to match the normal skin colour.

Superfade cream can be used to gradually bleach hyperpigmented skin including: 

• Freckles
• Senile lentigines (a small, flat, pigmented spot on the skin known as age spots that usally occur on the backs of hands)
• Chloasma (a patchy brown or dark brown skin discolouration that usually occurs on a woman's face and may result from hormonal changes, as in pregnancy)
• Melasma (a tan discolouration of a woman's face that is associated with pregnancy or with the use of oral contraceptives)
• Other unwanted areas of melanin hyperpigmentation

Superfade Cream Directions:

Before commencing check for allergy with a patch test on the inside of the upper arm.

Rub Superfade Cream sparingly only into areas to be treated, twice daily and at bed time.  Fully wash hands after applying Superfade cream.  After desired fading is obtained use only as necessary to maintain results. 

Superfade Cream Presentation:  One packet contains one 60ml (2fl.oz.) tube of the Superfade Cream.

Superfade Cream Ingredients:  Hydroquinone 2.0% w/w,  Salicylic Acid 1.5% w/w,  Padimate 0 3.0% w/w,  Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w (Preservative).

Store below 25°C, out of direct sunlight.

Superfade Cream Warnings:

• For External Use Only
• If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker, changed colour, become itchy or is bleeding do not use Superfade cream on it and see your doctor immediately.
• Do not use on children
• Do not use Superfade Cream near the eyes
• Mild irritation may occur, stop use if it becomes severe
• If fading is not evident within 3 months, seek doctor's advice
• Avoid exposure to the sun
