Lamisil Once is the first and only single application treatment for athlete's foot.

Lamisil Once forms a flexible film on the skin that delivers potent fungus killing action for up to 13 days after treatment.  Lamisil Once keeps on working to help fight and eliminate athlete's foot.

Lamisil Once is used to treat athlete's foot (Tinea Pedis). It works by killing the fungi which cause athlete's foot with one treatment killing fungi up to 13 days.

Before using Lamisil Once: Prior to using Lamisil Once, it is important to read the following questions and answers:

What if I'm allergic to Lamisil Once?
Lamisil Once should not be used by people who are allergic to the drug terbinafine or any other ingredient in the product.

Where can I apply Lamisil Once?
You should apply Lamisil Once only to the skin of your feet. Wash your hands after using Lamisil Once.

Lamisil Once Precautions: Do not get Lamisil Once on your face, near your eyes or on damaged skin (other than the treatment site), or touch your eyes while you still have Lamisil Once on your hands. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes thoroughly with running water and see your doctor if any symptoms persist. Use Lamisil Once with caution where your skin is inflamed or broken.

Do not use Lamisil Once in the case of long term fungal infection of the soles and heels of the feet with associated thickening and/or pronounced flaking of the skin. If you think you might have this condition, you should consult your doctor.

Do not use Lamisil Once if you have fungal nail infection (fungus inside and under the nail), with discolouration of the nails and change in nail texture (thick, flaky), but consult your doctor.

Can Lamisil Once be used on children?
Experience with using Lamisil Once on children under 15 years is limited. Therefore, the use of Lamisil Once on children under 15 years is not recommended.

Should Lamisil Once be used if I'm thinking of having a baby?
Since there is little experience with the safety of using Lamisil Once in pregnancy, it should not be used by pregnant women or those who are trying to become pregnant. See your doctor or pharmacist for further advice.

Should Lamisil Once be used if I'm breast-feeding?
You should not use Lamisil Once if you are breast-feeding.

How to use Lamisil Once:

Lamisil Once is applied only once. Each tube is for a single application, and has enough medication to treat both feet. To get the best results, feet should not be washed or splashed for 24 hours after the application. It is therefore recommended to apply Lamisil Once after a shower or a bath, and wait 24 hours before washing your feet again.

Follow the instructions for Lamisil Once carefully to get the best results:

1. Wash both feet and hands and dry carefully
2. Remove cap from the tube
3. Apply to both feet, even in areas where your skin looks healthy. Most people with athlete's foot have infection on both feet, even when signs of infection such as itching and scaling are present on only one foot. Treating both feet at once may help prevent re-infection.
4. Use about 1/2 tube for each foot before treating the other.
5. Apply to each foot with fingers. Apply first between, under and over all toes. Then apply over sole and sides of your foot. It is important to treat your whole foot as not all infected areas show signs of infection.
6. Treat the other foot in the same way
7. Spread quickly and evenly. Do not massage into skin. Do not apply to skin a second time.
8. Leave the product to dry to a film for 1-2 minutes. It will dry quickly to a colourless film.
9. Replace the cap on the tube and discard any remaining product. Do not keep or give the remaining product to other people.
10. Wash your hands after the application.
11. You may wear socks and shoes once the film has dried.
12. The film left on your skin after applying the product, even if it is barely visible, will continue to work killing the fungi for several days after the single dose application. Your skin condition should start to improve within a few days. Even though Lamisil Once will begin to kill the fungi immediately after single application, it may take up to 4 weeks for your skin to heal completley.
13. See your doctor or pharmacist if there is no improvement in your condition within 1 week after applying Lamisil Once.

To get the best of of your Lamisil Once treatment:

• Keep the affected area clean by washing it regularly after the first 24 hours. Dry it carefully without rubbing.
• Try not to scratch the area although it may be itchy, because this could cause further damage and slow the healing process or spread the infection.
• Keep your own towel and clothes and do not share them with others, as the infection can be passed on to other people. Wash them frequently to protect yourself from re-infection.

Lamisil Once side effects:

Some people may experience redness, itchiness, dryness, irritation or a stinging or burning sensation in the area where Lamisil Once has been applied.

Although these symptoms are normally harmless, you should nevertheless tell your pharmacist if they occur, as you may be experiencing an allergy to Lamisil Once, remove the film with methylated spirits, wash your feet with warm soapy water and rinse off.

Lamisil Once Storage conditions:

Lamisil Once should be stored below 30C. Store Lamisil Once in the original container to protect from light. Do not use Lamisil Once after the expiry date shown on the pack. Store Lamisil Once away from children.
