Voltaren Emulgel is a gel for rubbing into the skin and contains a substance called Diclofenac now available without a prescription.

Diclofenac is one of the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics. Anti-inflammatory analgesic gels are used to relieve pain and reduce swelling in a number of conditions affecting the joints and muscles, for example, sprains, strains and bruises. Voltaren Emulgel is ideal for treating sports injuries.

Voltaren Emulgel Indications: Use Voltaren Emulgel for general aches and pains, back, neck and shoulder pain. Voltaren Emulgel relieves pain and reduces swelling. Voltaren Emulgel is for local application for inflamed tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma, soft tissue rheumatism and localised rheumatic diseases.

Voltaren Emulgel Directions: Gently rub in a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel onto the painful or swollen area TWO to THREE times daily.

Voltaren Emulgel is for the temporary relief of local pain and inflammation in sore joints and muscles.

Voltaren Emulgel Contents: Voltaren Emulgel contains diclofenac sodium 1% w/w in a transdermal (crosses through the skin) gel base.

Voltaren Emulgel Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Wash hands after using Voltaren Emulgel. Apply Voltaren Emulgel only to intact skin - never to skin wounds or open injuries. Voltaren Emulgel is for external use only - Do not swallow Voltaren Emulgel. Do not use Voltaren Emulgel if you are allergic to Diclofenac or other NSAIDs.

Voltaren Emulgel is designed to be rubbed in. Do not swallow as the active ingredient may cause stomach irritation and other problems.

Each pack of Voltaren Emulgel contains 100g of Diclofenac 1% in a special transdermal rub in base. Voltaren Emulgel is for the temporary relief of local pain and inflammation in acute soft tissue injuries and localised soft tissue rheumatism including sprains, tendinitis, bursitis and sports injury.
