Nurofen Gel provides targeted relief for sprains, strains and sports injuries.

Nurogen Gel contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, ibuprofen in a transdermal gel that allows the active ingredient to quickly reach the target area for pain relief. It is ideal for aches and pains associated with soft tissue injuries such as sprains, muscle strains and sports' injuries.

Nurofen Gel is readily absorbed for fast action, is odourless, will not stain clothes or skin and does not leave a greasy residue on the skin surface. It is recommended for use in adults and children aged over 12 years. It can't be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as there is insufficient data to support its safe use. Nor can it be used if you are allergic to the active ingredient, ibuprofen or other NSAID medicines. If you have asthma your condition may be aggravated by using ibuprofen so please avoid.

Like other anti-inflammatory gels, which tend to be an irritant to the stomach this side effect is avoided when applied directly to the skin. Nurofen Gel may be bought without a prescription. If symptoms persist then please consult your doctor for further advice.
